Poggiarelli is a large house and its facilities are suitable for couples as well as families or for a group of friends since the outside areas and the arrangement of the rooms and apartments with their own gardens and private areas allow each guest to enjoy a peaceful holiday in an atmosphere which is homely and , at the same time, discreet.

B&B Fattoria Poggiarelli offers accommodation in apartments for two, four or six people, or in double rooms complete with bath and kitchenette. The apartments and rooms are furnished simply in the traditional tuscan style with accessories and fittings belonging to the family in combination with more functional, modern furnishings which make them more comfortable and more suitable for modern couples and families.
We offer a buffet breakfast for the guests in the rooms. It is available, on request, at extra charge for those who have rented an apartment.
The pool provides a wonderful opportunity to relax surrounded by vines, olives, native plants and palms, mixed with the scents of lavender and rosemary. Peace and quiet is assured by the fact that there is a second, shallower pool near the children’s play area, where kids can have fun not far from their parents.
Nature lovers can stroll along the footpaths or between the rows of vines and among the olives which surround the house and which produce good wine and wonderful extra vergin olive oil, on sale in the Poggiarelli cantinetta where you’ll find a large selection of wines and other local products.
In the light-filled and panoramic reception room with fireplace, suitable for meetings and weddings, there is a collection of books, magazines and tourist guides which guests may read.
The entire facility is available upon request for private parties and weddings for a maximum of 120 people.

Chianti is a hilly area which extends from south of Florence to north of Siena, whose border is not defined by law but rather by history, and which is bound to the production of Chianti Classico DOCG wine. Chianti has been populated since Etruscan and Roman times and traces of their passage can be seen in the villages whose very names derive from these civilisations; Panzano, Cacchiano, Rosennano, Olena....., in the ancient chapels and old roads, in the castles and in the landscape.
Chianti is a territory rich in history and tales of old, of people and events, both great and small, and it is perfect for the tourist who is not in a hurry, who wants to discover - even from a ruined house, from an abandoned building, from a view over woods, vineyards and olive groves – the story of generations of men and women.
